Hi again!
Do you know of a way in classic to prevent the targeting reticle from toggling on/off while spamming ground targetable spells? In later versions of the game you can /cast !Blizzard and the reticle will stay active. No such command exists for classic WoW that I'm aware of.
It's annoying because with multiple mages/warlocks trying to cast ground target spells if they get "de-sync'd" and some will toggle the spell off and not cast their AoE when you click.
Cheers.
Awesome. Thanks! I haven't played classic since actual classic and I was too new to the game back then to know much about macros. In some ways it's a lot more powerful but in others it's kind of limited.
I use ISBoxer on newer versions of WoW. With a two step keymap the first one snaps all of my alt windows to a top-down view directly above their heads and the second triggers the spell and then passes my next click to all other windows. Since they're all generally the same distance behind my main and facing in the same direction because of follow it's actually pretty accurate! At least, it is on WoTLK/TBC. I can't see why it'd work differently in classic.
Your scripts make it even more convenient since your follow system snaps the camera angle back to a playable view so I don't have to adjust it manually whenever I swap to another client window.
I think it should work well when I try out the above macro to stop the targeting reticle toggling.
